Convention Gifts

I showed you the general swaps I took for the US Convention in my previous post. I also took another dozen special swaps for some very special ladies.

I packaged each of them in one of our new Tag a Bag Gift Bags. These were decorated with some of our new gorgeous Chevron Ribbon. I used the Chalk Talk stamp set and matching Framelits to decorate the bags. Very simple to do, but as I was doing these the day before I left, they had to be :o)

Each package held one of these sweet little boxes :o)

And inside each box ...........

........... was a set of six mini tags. All joined together by the ribbon strap.

This picture shows the front of the tags.

And ..... this is the reverse.

I used the beautiful Soho Subway DSP to decorate each one. They each have a space for a little photo and some journalling. All are decorated differently.

They each took a long time to create, but I thoroughly enjoyed making them :o)

I will be running some classes to show how to make these in about a month's time. If you are interested in attending, please get in touch and I will give you more information. The instructions will also be available to purchase on my blog from that time too.

Note : You can see another version of this Tag Book Here.

Convention - USA!!!!

Julie, Ellie, Me, Michelle, Paula and Kerry

Convention USA was AMAZING! It was thoroughly exhausting, but such good fun .... in so many ways :o)

My travels did not start off very well! Our flight from Heathrow to Paris was delayed for quite some time due to mechanical problems. By the time it arrived in Paris, we had missed our connecting flight to Salt Lake City!

After queuing for HOURS at the Transfer desk to get booked on to the next flight - the next day - we were all pretty tired. 24 hours in Paris sounds so glamorous, BUT it really wasn't the case :o) We were shattered. Julie and Ellie came in from Manchester and their flight had problems too, so they also missed the SLC flight - but at least we were altogether.

The airline booked us into a hotel for the night (minus our cases) and the next day we were back at the airport. This photo (pinched from Paula) was taken while we were waiting at the Gate to catch our next flight. We finally arrived at the hotel in SLC at about 3.30pm and it was a bit of a rush to get cleaned up ready for the Convention start at 5pm ....... we did it though!

Bekka, Ellie, Me and Julie

This photo was taken on the Friday night, while waiting for the Awards night to start.

I adore each of these ladies, they made my trip very special and it was so lovely to get to know them all a little better. Bekka and Julie are my Stampin' sisters ...... and the lovely Ellie was Julie's guest. Bekka was also my roomie during Convention and I loved sharing with this wonderful, beautiful and very special lady :o)

Me & Monica

Because I was so late arriving in SLC on the Thursday, I missed the Riverton Tours running that morning. Riverton is where Stampin' Up! has it's Head Office and Distribution Centre.

BUT ...... because Stampin' Up! is the best company in the whole world .... and only employs the most wonderful and incredible people - Paula Gorry, the UK Business Development Manager arranged for me to have a private tour straight after Convention finished on the Saturday evening!!!! How amazing is that????

The beautiful Amy drove myself and another very lovely and special lady - who also happens to be my upline - Monica, to Riverton and then gave us an amazing, extended tour! I loved sharing this with Monica and spending time with her :o)

We even got to pick part of an order!!!! Although ....... this is a rubbish photo Mon!!!!! :o)

One thing I wanted to do soooo much - as soon as I knew I was going on this trip, was to have my picture taken by the 'Rock'. And .... here I am :o) One very happy SU Demo! Thank you Paula xxxx

On the final morning of my trip, we went to listen to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir - again arranged by the lovely Paula.

This was a very beautiful and uplifting experience that was truly moving and another fabulous highlight to my trip. I could have listened to them all day :o)

Finally, this is a pic of all the goodies I received at Convention and brought home with me :o) What a haul!!!!

Some of the items I have had to cover up because they are products that haven't been released in the UK yet and I can't show them to you until they are.

I received 'The Bag' - which is lovely. I'm not a back pack person, but this bag is full of pockets and hidden compartments and will be very useful. A silver pen and commemorative pin were also included, but I forgot to take these out for the pic!

I had 6 stamp sets in total, 2 sets of Washi Tape (thank you Bekka!), a Journal, Stickers, DSP pack and a Rotary Stamp. Also a Simply Created kit and a Tag A Bag Accessory Kit.

Everyone also received a Undefined refill kit (we don't know yet if this is coming to the UK) and a Paper Pumpkin kit (not available in the UK). We also received 6 Make and Take kits ....... although I haven't made them yet, so mine were Take and Makes :o)

Convention Europe is coming soon. It will be held in Manchester in November. Would you like to come too? Now is the perfect time to join Stampin' Up! We have just had a new Annual Catalogue released this month and we have our Pre-Order for the forthcoming Autumn/Winter Catalogue starting 1st August, with it's release on 29th August. It's a great time to start a new Business Venture. If you think you may be interested, click on the Join My Team Tab at the top of this blog and have a read. Then drop me an email or give me a ring to have a chat about it :o) There is now, no paper work to complete because everything can be done online. I would love to have you come with me :o)

Off ......... To Convention USA!

I leave tomorrow - in the very early hours - to start my journey to the North American Convention 2013. This is held in Salt Lake Ciry, Utah .............. and I cannot wait!

My lovely upline Monica has invited me as her guest to this amazing event. I will be joining over 6000 other Demonstrators. Most of these are US and Canada based, but this year because it is Stampin' Up!'s 25th Anniversary, Incentive Trip achievers from all over the world will be there. I know it's going to be a fabulous trip!

I will be away until next Monday, so anyone purchasing Classes from me will not receive them until early next week.
